PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT INTRODUCTION  |  PUBLIC MEETINGS The first public meeting for the Towpath Trail Extension Project was an extremely positive event. On April 17, 2007 over 150 people attended the meeting at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Windows on the World Building. The atmosphere was supportive and everyone was excited to know the proposed trail alternatives and if their neighborhood would be connected to the proposed trail. The design team had several different display boards depicting different trail concepts and options, nearby facilities, possible interpretative and landscape regeneration alternatives.
